In January 2012, I made a resolution to go on at least one trip every month for a year. The only rule was that I had to sleep somewhere outside of town for at least one night.

There were moments where I wasn’t sure if it was going to happen, but magically, by the end of 2012, I had gone on not only 12 trips, but many more.

This year, I decided to continue the tradition, and already for 2013 my year is looking adventurous: NYC over NYE, Hong Kong/Taiwan/China in February,  Yelapa, Mexico in March, and Puerto Rico in July. I don’t know how I will fill the rest of the months up, but I trust that adventure is just around the corner, this year even more exotic than the last.

Every one of these trips have their own epic, magical, inspiring stories, and that is why my resolution for this year, is to write a story every month about the trip that I have gone on. You can read about them in the trip-a-month category.
